I was the first writer hired by Rick Sittig to write ads for the Jack in the Box campaign. During the next seven years, we had Jack do everything from give a burger to Ronald McDonald (yes, we did it first) to try and say “Chipotle” to come to life as talking bobblehead coercing a van driving stoner to score 30 tacos. Sales set records year after year and we never stopped having fun. This is a small sample of the 250+ TV and radio commercials I wrote along the way.
