In 2016, the agency I was ECD at started volunteering time to a small, local organization called The Zimmer Children's Museum. Their programs were expanding and they needed a new name, design and anthem for themselves and all new programs they were set to create.

After leaving the agency, I stayed in touch and continued helping them with more messaging.

In 2017, I was asked to join the Board of Directors. I was also asked to help lead a very small group to create their new museum: A massive move to a much larger space. For a number of reasons, a lot had to change. It was time to create something meaningful.

My concept was chosen: A museum with a mission to give earth's youngest citizens the tools, knowledge and drive to make the world a better place.

The museum will be divided into 5 pillars, each filled with exhibits where visitors would play their way to learning valuable skills: Courage, Teamwork, Reflection, Helping and Beginning (for toddlers). Each would be named with special titles to help share their goals: Reach For, Together We, Reflect On, Let's Help and Launch Your.

We break ground in August 2018. Below is a map and some renderings of what we're making. Not final, but you'll get the idea how kids will learn through play.

If you know anyone who would like to sponsor, please let me know.
